At AfriCargo Express, we pride ourselves on providing a seamless and reliable shipping service between the UK and Nigeria. We understand that circumstances may change, and customers may sometimes wish to cancel their shipment. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled in a fair and transparent way.
If a shipment is cancelled before our team has collected the item(s), the customer will receive a full refund of any payment made.
Once items have been collected by AfriCargo Express but not yet shipped, a cancellation fee will apply to cover handling, transport, and administrative costs.
The cancellation fee will be deducted from the amount paid, and the balance (if any) will be refunded to the customer.
Customers must arrange to collect their goods from our hub/warehouse or cover the cost of return delivery.
Once items have been processed, loaded, or dispatched for shipping (air or sea freight), the shipment cannot be cancelled.
No refunds will be issued once goods are in transit.
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days to the original payment method.
The following are non-refundable once incurred:
Collection/handling fees
Packaging materials
Customs documentation fees
Any third-party logistics charges already paid by AfriCargo Express
We strive to be transparent and fair. This policy ensures that while customers have the flexibility to cancel, AfriCargo Express is protected from losses after services have already been rendered.
